概要
Recently, dismantlable adhesives that can be easily disassembled after use are attracting attention for the fields of recycling and green chemistry. We have developed an electric removable adhesive tape that can be dismantled by electrical stimulation. Our electric removable adhesive tape has high initial peel strength comparable to adhesives. By over 5V DC applied for short time, this tape can be peeled off by interfacial failure without adhesive residue, and the peel strength is reduced by more than 90% of its initial peel strength. Furthermore, the tape can be used more than five times repeatedly. This tape is expected to be applied in the fields of electrical appliances, electronic materials, and adhesives as a dismantlable material.
